So I'm about to launch into my next animated short entitled, "Be a Supervillain and Reign Supreme In 10 Days or Less". It's a two minute, 3D animated infomercial spoof. And yes, the title is copyrighted, so don't be getting any funny ideas.
It's based on those wonderful old Goofy cartoons like "How to Swim" and "How to Play Football"...there's this wonderful voiceover and Goofy always manages to mess things up. It's animation at it's purest and they are part of my childhood. It is also based on, what else? Infomercials. Infomercials are truly funny....whatever is being sold is gauranteed to change your life. Why get your hands dirty working to fix your problems when just four easy payments of $19.95 will do it for you?
So, the script is finalized and storyboards are done...now I begin designing the environments and working on the animatic. Keep checking back, I'll be posting updates here!
